Meanwhile, the businesses that power our visitor economy — tour operators, activity companies, and the organizations that promote these islands — are still answering the same guest questions by hand, digging through inboxes for last season's pricing, and losing their best knowledge every time a veteran guide moves on.
Lokal Media exists to close that gap. We take the same AI systems being deployed inside billion-dollar companies and build them for the businesses we actually live alongside — with the owner in the room, in plain English, on island time zones.

Aloha — I'm Ryan, founder of Lokal Media. I've spent the past decade building digital marketing and customer-acquisition systems for small businesses, and the last few years going deep on AI — building the agents, automations, and operating systems I now bring to Hawaiʻi's tourism industry.
I started Lokal Media because I kept watching the same story: incredible operators delivering world-class experiences on the water and in the valleys, while their offices drowned in unanswered inquiries, scattered spreadsheets, and software that doesn't talk to itself. The technology to fix this exists today — it just hasn't been built for them. That's the work.
